T34-85

The Soviet T34-85 is the backbone of the Russian military and was the tank that helped break the defense of Berlin in April of 1945. The Red Army used they tanks in mass number and were able to penetrate German amour and break lines quickly.

The T34-85 had a V12 diesel GAZ engine that powered it. The T34-85 could go up to speeds of 26 mph at a time. The T34-85 typically had a crew of 5 a gunner, loader, driver, radio operator, and commander,

The amour on the tank was sloped and 30-80 mm of amour. The gun was a 85 mm cannon with 2x DT 7.62 mm (0.3 in) machineguns. The tank though was usually not fully completed and rolled out half complete on the convener belt

17,600 T34-85s were produced in late 1944 most would break down or fall apart on the front-line.

KV-1

The KV1s are the are Soviet tanks that started huge issues that the Germans ran into during early parts of Operation Barbarossa. The Soviets made this to beef up their tanks to deal with Panzer 4s and German anti tank guns and tank destroyers like Stug 3s and 4s

The KV-1 had a V12 diesel V2 engine that could help it move quickly into enemy lines. The KV-1 moved at speeds of 26 mph and could actively support Infantry during charges. The KV-1 had a range of 200 km and could move through enemy territory and break enemy lines as they charge in numbers.

The tank had a crew of 4 , 2 gunners, driver, and commander. The amour was 30 to 100 mm thick and panzer 3-4s had trouble penetration on the thick amour hull. The gun was a 76.2 mm gun and had 3x DT 7.62 mm (0.3 in) machine-guns and these could help against infantry attacks.

KV-2

The KV-2 was made to punch through enemy defenses and functioned more as a mobile assault gun then a tank destroyer or a tank itself. The tank could wipe out mass amounts of Infantry and also go toe to toe with German Tigers, and Panthers.

The KV-2 had a V-2 diesel engine that would move this giant siege tank. The tank had a top speed of 15.5 mph on road and 7.5 mph off roading. The tank had a crew of 5 or 6 members. It consisted of a driver, gunner, commander, 2 loaders possibly 3 loaders.

The tank has a amour of 75-110 mm and could tank shots from a Panzer 4. The KV-2 had a 152 mm 1938/1940 L20 howitzer or 152 mm M-10T in a later model.

IS-2

The IS-2 was a Soviet tank that could battle Germany’s main battle tank for the Soviet Union. The tank could penetrate Tigers and Panthers.

The IS-2 had a V2 diesel V12 engine that let it speed on the road. 23 miles per hour is its highest speeds. The tank had an amour of 30-120 mm for protection. The tank could help infantry to push and break German defense and take this from German Tigers.

The IS-2 had a 122 mm cannon a D-25T. Along with 2xDT 7.62 mm (0.3 in) machine guns
DShK 12.7 mm (0.5 in) AA machine gun. The crew had 4 people a driver, gunner, loader, and commander.
